The Southeast Asia Nature Risk Toolkit is a new resource financial institutions can use to find tools, data and guidance for assessing nature-related financial risk in the region.
The Toolkit was created by the ENCORE Partners in collaboration with AIGCC and leading nature-finance experts. It collates more than 120 tools and datasets with further resources on scenario analysis and country-level developments on nature-related financial risk.

You can download the PDF toolkit below, along with the resources that have been created alongside it.
Southeast Asia Nature Risk Toolkit – Tools, data and guidance for assessing nature-related risks in Southeast Asia.
ENCORE plug-and-play workbook – A new spreadsheet-based tool that enables financial institutions to quickly screen for material dependencies and pressures on nature and prioritize next steps, with country-specific data for Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
Southeast Asia nature assessment tools and datasets catalogues – Curated listings of more than 50 tools and over 70 datasets. These can be filtered by geography, sector and use case and support a wide range of approaches to assessing nature risk.
Nature-related physical risk library – A library of nature-related physical risks helps users translate environmental change into financial impacts and build nature-related risk pathways (included in the Toolkit).
The Southeast Asia Nature Risk Toolkit is a joint project, created by Global Canopy, Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) and Proforest, with financial support from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and AIGCC.
The toolkit supports assessments aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures’ (TNFD) LEAP approach.
